These bags are simple, but very practical and can be used for a wide range of things: camera or tool storage, cosmetic bag, gift wrapping, project transport, suitcase organization, and lots more! The pattern shows two ways of making this type of bag (option with the side handle that fits perfectly around your wrist, and the traditional drawstring bag). Plus, the pattern includes two different frequently used
sizes.

The design includes a channel at the top for the drawstrings and gussets at the bottom for a nice shape. And there are pockets! On one interior wall is a panel divided into one medium-sized pocket and three narrow pockets for needles, tools or writing implements. On the opposite interior wall is two medium-sized pockets perfect for your phone and/or small notebook.

Drawstring bag pattern large version

Pattern was very clear. Photos & description were great. I finished the large size bag for my Grandsons first BD. Will keep his little wooden toys in it.

Really enjoyed making this up - well designed - and worked up beautifully. Terrific innovation with the webbing handle and well suited to using linen fabrics for lining and coordinating with fat quarter pretties for exterior! **I added extra edge stitch top stitching along the side folds and it added a nice stability to the bag.
